The Executive Director of Al-Omran Institute for Studies and Capacity Building received a delegation from the Ministry of Public Health and Population. The delegation was represented by Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population, Mr. Abdullah Dahan, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Health and Population for the Health Sector, Dr. Salem Al-Shabhi, and Professor Amer Salemin Balfair, the President of the Yemeni Council for Medical and Health Specializations. Also present were Dr. Mohammed Tareq, the official responsible for camps at the Ministry of Health, and Dr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Jumahi, the Director-General of the Ministry of Public Health and Population's office in the coastal region of Hadramout. The meeting took place at the institute's headquarters in the city of Al-Mukalla.
At the beginning of the visit, the Executive Director of Al-Omran Institute, Mr. Fahmi Bin Mahna, welcomed the visitors, providing them with an overview of the various activities and works carried out by the institute in the fields of research, studies, and individual and institutional capacity building. He highlighted the important research and survey studies that serve the health sector in the province.
The visitors were briefed on the institute's departments and the activities it conducts. They praised the efforts of the institute in training and qualifying individuals, developing their skills, and preparing them to meet the needs of the job market, particularly in the field of health
