The Executive Director of Al-Omran Institute for Studies and Capacity Building, Mr. Fahmi Mabrouk bin Mahanna, met with the Director of the Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries Office in Cotton City, Mr. Aseel Ahmed Aboud bin Shams, to discuss partnership opportunities in the fields of research studies and capacity building.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Aseel bin Shams listened to a detailed explanation of the various activities carried out by the institute in the field of building individual and institutional capacities. The institute focuses on training and qualifying youth and professionals through organizing training courses in various scientific disciplines. Additionally, Mr. Aseel bin Shams reviewed some of the works and activities of the Studies and Research Department, presenting and preparing survey studies and research using scientific methodologies that benefit the community.
In turn, Mr. Aseel bin Shams praised the efforts of Al-Omran Institute in enhancing the skills of trainees, building their capacities, and improving their performance. The meeting also addressed enhancing partnership opportunities between both parties to conduct field surveys and research studies for the agricultural sector in the city. Furthermore, coordination was discussed to conduct courses for the office's staff to enhance their capabilities. This is expected to improve the skills of the employees
