The Director General of Kuwait Direct Aid, Dr. Abdullah Abdulrahman Al-Sumait, visited the Al-Omran Institute for Studies and Capacity Building, accompanied by the Director of Geographic Regions Management, Mr. Tariq Abdullah Al-Bajis; the Director of the Yemen Office, Mr. Ali Batait; the Deputy Director, Mr. Ahmed Wahab; and the Director of the Hadhramaut Branch, Engineer Adli Abbas Baseif. They were accompanied by the Director General of Nahd Development Foundation, Mr. Ibrahim Jumaan Bin Thabit, and were received by the Vice President of the Institute, Mr. Omar Abdulaziz Bin Aqeel, and the Executive Director, Mr. Fahmi Mabrook Bin Mahna.
During the visit, Dr. Al-Sumait and the accompanying delegation were briefed on the key activities carried out by the Institute in the field of individual and institutional capacity building through the organization of training courses and specialized programs that help in skill development and increase employment opportunities. They also reviewed the work conducted by the Research and Studies Department, which includes preparing and presenting research studies and surveys, and issuing guides, books, and summaries that contribute to community development.
Dr. Al-Sumait and his accompanying team commended the efforts of the Institute's administration in focusing on research, training, and qualifying young people, as well as developing human resources to facilitate their entry into the job market smoothly and easily.
