**Al-Omran Institute and Misr El Kheir Foundation Discuss Strengthening Partnership for Institutional Capacity Building and Coordinating Development Efforts**
**Cairo –**
As part of efforts to enhance cooperation among institutions and build effective training and development partnerships, Al-Omran Institute for Studies and Capacity Building visited the headquarters of Misr El Kheir Foundation in Cairo to discuss ways of coordinating partnership between the two sides in areas of mutual interest, particularly in developing the performance of civil society organizations and ensuring the quality of their work.
During the visit, the Institute’s Executive Director, Mr. Fahmi Mabrouk Bin Mahna, met with Dr. Waleed Sayed Ali Abdel Hamid, Director of Institutional Development for Civil Society Organizations at Misr El Kheir Foundation; Dr. Mahmoud Kamal Abou El-Kheir, Director of Partnerships and Civil Society Support; and Dr. Yasser Badry, Head of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Unit for Civil Society Organizations.
The meeting reviewed mechanisms for exchanging expertise and coordinating joint efforts between the two parties, with a focus on benefiting from institutional experiences in supporting civil society and enhancing the quality of nonprofit work.
Both sides emphasized the importance of activating the partnership between the Institute and the Foundation in a way that contributes to unifying efforts, maximizing benefits for non-governmental organizations, and developing their institutional capacities to ensure sustainable and effective development impact.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Ali Hamed Al-Dhalea, Director of Programs and Projects Department at Nahd Developmental Foundation.
